The Audit & Strategy Day™ is a one day school literacy audit with your leadership team, ending in a literacy improvement strategy for your school.

Or you have multiple programs, assessments and approaches in place, but aren’t confident which part of the system is limiting impact. Before you decide what to do next, we need to identify the issue beneath the issue.
What happens during your school literacy audit
I work alongside your leadership team to understand your goals and concerns, and to examine your student and staff data, assessment schedule, Tier 1 teaching, curriculum, intervention and current improvement processes. We look at the schoolwide systems as a whole and pinpoint where you may be leaking impact, where the gaps are and where students may be slipping through.
We ask four questions: where are you now, where do you want to be, why aren’t you there yet, and what needs to happen next?

Julie works with your leadership team to examine your student and staff data, current practice and systems. Together you answer four questions: where are you now, where do you want to be, why aren’t you there yet, and what needs to happen next.
What do we need to prepare?
Your recent literacy data (for example screening, NAPLAN and intervention list information, Phonics Check, FELA, Student Survey Pulse Checks), current assessment schedule, literacy block structure and curriculum map; and the concern you most want to solve. We send a preparation checklist after you book.
Is the Audit & Strategy Day on site or online?
The Audit & Strategy Day runs online as an eight hour day with two short breaks.
